Shelton, CT — Exago, Inc. published their first GA release of 2019 on June 7th, marking a milestone for the company as they expand their flagship offering to include a built-in ETL interface. The no-code ETL tool accessed via the administration console allows anyone to blend cross-source data, clean, pre-process, transform, and warehouse data for more efficient reporting. The addition of ETL to existing dashboard, data visualization, scheduling, and reporting capabilities expands their embedded BI solution into an end-to-end analytics platform.

ETL Job

ETL Jobs can be set to run at regular intervals or overnight, keeping the data warehouse current.

“We’re thrilled to finally share this version of Exago and our ETL tool” said Exago CTO and Co-Founder Stew Meyers of the release. “We wanted to make it easy for clients to manage every aspect of their data with a single application instead of having to coordinate several tools and teams. This expansion of our core product marks a significant point in Exago’s growth, and we will just continue to grow from here as we have more exciting projects brewing.”

ETL Report

ETL Reports resemble Advanced Reports and may be created without any coding experience.

According to Product Manager Alexander Agoado, Exago BI’s “main achievements for this round of development, in addition to ETL and data preparation, were to optimize performance in all possible areas."

Formula sorts in the database and optimized configuration file handling are among several enhancements in this version contribute to delivering a more performant experience. Formula sorts will enhance report execution performance by offloading local processes to the database, while configuration optimizations allow for quicker session initialization, a smaller memory footprint, and improvements to frontend performance.

These features accompany several other enhancements to both front- and back-end processes, including modifying filters and parameters in the JavaScript API, dashboard reflow, and more intuitive time zone handling.
